Fantastic work. Your countertop and shower walls couldn't have better texture and color. Impressive!

Thanks for the compliment. As you well know, most individuals working with any system or material will never invest the time/effort/money to become an artisan. It is very sad to see many that you train go on to rush a process and go to market with a level of craft that should remain hidden in the garage. I spent nearly two years training and providing support for Shirestone, and a small handful out of about 150 applied themselves to the craft and became quite good. I would most definitely like to learn more about your system, products, etc. I am very intrigued by your shower application. The project you referred to of mine was an odd thing that developed on the fly, with very little advance plan. The outside arch was a last minute application after the faux finisher failed to show. Had I anticipated, the carved jamb would have been back-beveled on the outside for a more seamless result. All in all, not bad for a few days in a friends little bath. It's definitely nice to have a neutral location to try new ideas. Do stay in touch with developments on your side. Hope to see some of your work in person sometime.

Hi, Bobby. Love your work. We just got your DVD at work - I haven't seen it yet but am looking forward to it. Love South TX; I was born in Hondo.

Bobby thank you for your kind words, I love this craft and I look forward to continuing my education surrounded by all the Artisans in this forum. I'm a subscriber of Vertical Artisans and the data and knowledge shared there is phenomenal. Having true artist like Nathan, Mike Vernelson, and yourself sharing your skills and offering up your knowledge is what will create a thriving industry of no limitations for us all to enjoy.

    Hello Bobby,
Just wanted to say hi real quick. I noticed that you posted a couple pics of a cool table on Jeff's network. I tried to get a better look at it, but somethings wrong with my signing in. Trying to sort it out now. Things are a bit stressful now, but I'll try and give you a call soon. Take care.

Hey bobby , its me .. sorry I never got to attend the class, saw some of the photos they look great , My question is on the edge forms you have , are they 1"1/2 or 2" ? And are is there a chisled edge , and a Ogee, design , if so do they have the texture as well. Interested in the forms you use... and I still want to see the vertical mix , a little hight light reel if you can ... TTYL

    Thanks Bobby,

The same thing I wrote to Nathan applies to your comments. You do outstanding art work and it is nice to hear from people who have been in the business for years like I have. It seems to always be evolving. A lot of work, money, trial and error goes into our craft and mixes and people wonder why we hold them tight to our chests. There is definite value in our time and art.
    Thanks again Bobby
