    Derek hi welcome to this forum u have come to the right place to learn this craft! I'm a novice myself but I'm on my way and everything I have learnt has been through this forum and the VA training site! I know myself that the cost of the training site seems high when u r just new and not sure what ur gonna get out of it. But I can tell u once u get on there and see the amount of training videos that are really simple to follow u soon realise its worth way more. Being that you are in Cali I'd highly suggest doing one of Richard Wingets classes I have his DVDs and its great. I wish I lived over there so I could attend those classes. Anyways mate I won't ramble on I hope this helps and have a great time with it...
