The mix on this particular project was simply Ready-mix Concrete (high-sand, low aggregate content) with Mortar Colorant added at the plant, delivered by truck, and applied as shotcrete by the crew from CEMROCK whom I art directed.  Some finish work was done with hand-applied sand mix.    It was a mandatory spec that all textural coats include an integral base coloring, whether it was concrete, epoxy, etc...
