Cool benefit gig that brought in large community support

Alright, so I know people are busy so I will talk fast.  Jeff, a young, recently married, and a father to be found out he had brain cancer.  My wife and I got on board to help fund raise and coordinate event (not really my thing but I try).  I was trying to figure out what I could donate to help raise a little money and I was thinking along the lines of  overlaying a garage floor.  Then I thought it would be cool to maybe carve a wall in there too.  It was fall and we did not want to have to deal with heating the area (its a Minnesota thing) so we started thinking along the lines of taking the idea into the basement.  Thats when I gave Don a call at Walt tools to see if they could help.  Don told me that he would give me a call back.  He did.  THEY DONATED A FULL PALLET OF TRU PAC!!!  With THAT donation we knew we could do something.  Other contractors got involved and there was a custom cabinet and cupboards donated and installed, a huge projection unit from Ultimate electronics, surround system with blue ray, all electrical, plumbing, ceiling, money for other materials, everything needed.  This package was formed 2 days before benefit and the dvd showing the package was finished hours before auction!!  Praise God, it was sooo sweet!!

Jeff had 2 large tumors removed and was standing up giving his testimony one week after his 2nd surgery!  He has 1 more small tumor that is inoperable but was found that radiation would be the way to go versus chemo.  He has successfully completed that treatment and is now taking care of his beautiful baby daughter!!  He is very involved at his church working with other young adults.

The benefit in other regards rocked as well, USA 1 monster truck showed up and crushed some cars, a motorcycle stunt team performed throughout the day, and the food was amazing!............OK, i think that is it... Haha, the room turned out great and is exactly what they wanted.  There were a few bags of TRU PAC left over so I donated them (and the work) to an ALANO club (where AA meetings are held) and carved out a couple of....tributes.   Thats it, now I am going to try to figure out how to post pics on here.

Rock on,

Amazing people can do some amazing stuff with a little positive thinking, support from family and friends, and a God given spirit.  Great job Scott.
