First off, I’ll use the exchange of a 10,000 IQD (Iraqi Dinar) note as my example. To help explain the economics of this cash-in example, I will use a 1:1 cash-in ratio between the USD (US Dollar)…Continue

I would like to start off by saying that I have considered bringing this investment to all of you for quite sometime. I also want to stress the fact that I am not a trained investor but rather a speculator in all of this.
I will tell you that I am in a group of about 70 individuals that all share the same belief of this particular investment.
I will post some information and try to paint the picture that has so impressed me to take this risk.

The investment is the Iraqi Dinar ( the Iraqi Currency )

When we invaded that country many years ago we put them in Chapter 7. This was enforced by the UN and the IMF. The time for this ban to be lifted is upon us.

My suggestion is to look at this currency, which is not traded publicly in the markets yet, only privately, as an insurance policy. Not as the coverage of a policy but as Insurance that has no expiration date.

What I mean is you pay insurance companies every month and after the month is gone so is your coverage. This is tangible currency that you hold in your hand. You can sell it back if you wish.

Right now the rate is 1 USD = 1170 IQD That means right now their paper money is like toilet paper.

I believe that the rate will go over 1 USD = 1 IQD. Some believe even up to $3.22

I look at this investment at a 1 to 1 ratio.

You can buy 100,000 IQD for around $160.00 That's not a big investment and if I'm right we all could use that kind of money right now.
Dinars can be purchase through a web site called Dinar Trade

There is a lot that can be said on this particular topic. I will respond as much as I can. Most of what I have heard is all rumors and lies. I only believe a small fraction of what I read yet I still believe I have made a great investment.

I will post other links and articles that will fortify my position.

I have spoken with a man who has been trading and investing for many years and he doubts the Dinar will re-value at 1 to 1 let alone 3 to 1. He may be right, but even a penny on the dollar will profit $5000 on a $500 investment! anything higher is just icing on the cake... I'm gonna buy mine soon.

Saudi Urges Iraq Parties to Form Government

13/07/2010
RIYADH (AFP) – Saudi Arabia on Monday called on Iraq's political parties to move quickly to form a new government to enhance the country's stability and security.

The Saudi cabinet in its weekly meeting "urged its Iraqi brothers to speedily form a new government to bring more security and stability in the country," according to an official report carried by the SPA news agency.

The cabinet, presided by Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, made the call as Iraqi politicians continue to struggle to form a new government more than four months after an inconclusive election.

Iraq's political party leaders on Monday extended the inaugural parliamentary session by two weeks to give themselves time to sort out the deadlock.

Saudi-supported former premier Iyad Allawi, leader of the broadly secular Iraqiya coalition, is seeking to replace current Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, whose Shiite-led State of Law alliance came a close second in the election.

I read this as a"very soon" position for dinar holders

This is a potential date and time line in lew of all that is taking place right now.
16 to 26th……….Elected Officials Announced

26th to Aug 3rd………..GOI sits down

Aug 3rd to 15th…………RI rate is released

This is a possible scenario of what can happen very soon.

Here is a current site that shares many sources of intel on this investment.

Once again I hope many of you take the risk.

Hey Nathan, thank you for posting this info.
I have been doing a lot of reading and find this all very interesting.
Is there any kind of urgency to buy at this time as opposed to a month down the road?
Are speculators expecting a surge in the value of the Dinar in the very near future?
