Kenny, first of all, it doesnt matter if you are inside or outside, you should use whatever you feel most comfortable with for coloring. Acrylics can be used outside or in. Secondly, using lightweight or not lightweight, the mix doesnt care or know if its inside or outside. It seems more to matter again what you like to use. If you are doing a huge area on a second floor, and you are worried about the structure holding it up, then a lightweight mix might make you feel better about that. Again, dont get caught up in the marketing term lightweight. There are definate uses for a mix that may weigh a bit less, but the amount of difference isnt going to collapse your wall or floor. When weight is spanned over an area, the weight is distributed over a larger area and its not that important to have a mix as light as feathers. If you are pileing up 2000lbs in an area of a floor about 10sqft, as an example, then you prob will want to do some structual upgrades.
