Like I said...not done with the coloring of the stones in front. Also need to touch up chips caused when putting in the tall columns.

Hey Scott thanks for giving me the heads up on the xypex. Just wondering if you had any probs with efflorescence?

I always seem to get some efflorescence on my outdoor work. All masonry block and veneer stone work in this area seems to suffer the same. Probably natural salts in the water. Did get any where xypex was used in the scratch or brown coat. I've never sealed my work so I'm sure I could address it if I tried a little harder. I've also not used any ready made vertical mix on my outdoor projects. I'm sure inconsistencies in the amount of lime per batch is a factor as well. It really has not been very much of an issue and I've noticed that after the first year it seems to abate.
