this is a base for a reptile terrarium loosley based on nathans planter idea. as this is my first real try at this wonderful art scince i traind with nathan i fig i would give all a look! all comments good or bad are welcomed as even the bad will help further me in perfecting this art!! so please feel free and i look foward to hearing from all!!

Nice work Scott! I'm by no means an expert yet, but I can give a pointer as I did the very same thing with my first fireplace. The third and forth stone from the bottom where you did your reliefing along the bottom edges. It can look a little smooth or rounded so what I like to do is after about 8 hour or so when my work is good and set, I take a pointed trowel and make some chips and scars along those areas. Give the chips some hard angles. It does look great as is though.
