Fireplace job done for dion battles. Kirtbag carving mix was used and performed awesome. Tons of inverted areas and a lot of textured areas with no deep Impressions and had virtually no cracking.

Toribio hard at work. Those of you that met him at the Lorane Ore class know that he is a machine! He worked along side Jeff carving on this job. This is his first one after the Mike and Nathan class.

Thanks Scott. It was fun. Put a lot of hard work and long hours in it, and I'm pleased with the outcome. Had a lot of inverted areas and kirtbag performed great.

Thanks Christian. Ya toribio is awesome, I couldn't have finished this without him. He carved a little bit also and did well.

I was called in to create just the fireplace area. After spending a little time with homeowners, it morphed into this larger project with 4 arches, shelf boulders, water features and alot of stacked stonework! We framed it all in, raised the sunken floor and got it all scratch coated. At that time i found myself barried in work and I needed to have three projects going at once that week, so I brought in some help. We all spent the first day carving the big fireplace stones and the fountains, I went over my design in detail and had full confidence in Jeff and Toribio. Jeff did a great job working with my guy, in our neck of the woods and trying to adapt to our processes. I enjoyed having him here and helping me out with soome carving, he did a great job!!!!!!! Thanks Jeff.

I appreciate the kind words. You have been there for me since day one. I was honered to help on this project. This is what this industry is all about. Helping one another to accomplish a task. It's an example of what we as artists can do for one another. It wasn't this large scale commercial job with a handful of artists, but it was what you and I have talked about doing for years, and it finally happened. I love this industry and want it to grow and prosper. There are so many great artists on this forum that do outstanding work. It's nice when we can help each other out. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for opening your home to me and trusting me with you clients. Tell toribio he needs to work a little harder, lol.
