We built this pub few years back. Disagreement regarding cabinets but friend carpenter of owner pushed the deal. Recently friend decorator of owner pushed some wacky changes like all walls white, painted adobe bricks in dull purple, etc. Owner mad, decorator woman close friend of wife. They called me to buid a bbq in brick, etc. Disagreement with decorator but she`s got influence. Designing goes back and forth, I`m pissed but got to be patient, so I backed off and politely agree to any shit deco lady says, she grabbed part of remodeling which is ok, but darn it just tell me what I`ll be doing and what she `d be doing, and everyone happy... strange situation, client`s a good one, but the wife is so unstable it`s just amazing. Live and learn, and above all, I`m learning patience is a great virtue. By the way, they want the f...ing cabinets out because "it all looks like a regular kitchen place" ...Wait, wait, there`s more: I heard already they`d like to do something to the recently purple painted adobes in the bar counter. Help me God. LOL.
