Is the oven refractory or firebrick? Ours has 4 " of ceramic fiber and pericrete insulation over medium density firebrick but seems to be holding up well to the 900 degree temps

Very nice formation. What about the flooring around the pool,  I like it too.... how did you texture that so nicely ?

Sorry for the long response, yes, oven is refractory cement. No firebrick used only on bottom.
