Hi Dion, I love the water feature. We build a lot of outdoor structures. I was curios if u had any issues with the OSB outdoors? I am always nervous about the wood subframe with the outdoor environment. I never know weather to use metal studs and cement board or OSB. Any Advise?

Well I look at it this way, all the residential homes in our region are built with osb and then sided. Some have stucco, some masonite, some stone, some brick, etc. I wrapped this one with tar paper and lath, then scratch coat and carve coat. Pretty much the same way stucco is applied. It is common to build structures as a pole barn setup also, that is how I built this one. The roof has a hole in it for the post to go through and I left a gap at the bottom all the way around so that it can breath. I just put the landscaping rock up against it so you cant see the gap. i will be the first one to find out if it does not last though!!!!!! :)

I think the same thing as we build something with OSB. Maybe i am just too paranoid. Thanks for the input. "Just Keep On Keeping On", as Joe Dirt says. :)
