Putting the Art in Carved Concrete
This is a hands on approach to taking your decorative business to new heights! In this class you will learn the basics to advanced art of carving vertical concrete. It is a way to build your portfolio and set yourself above the competition! You will learn the application process on different substrates and learn prepping, texturing, carving, using molds, design transfer, adding unique elements, coloring & staining, and protecting your finished project. Also, this class will cover how to market and sell this art form. Apply what you learn to custom fireplace surrounds, backsplashes, showers, outdoor kitchens, accent panels, interior and exterior walls.

Joyce Nelson
Troweled art, Canvas to Wall finishes
Joyce has been a student of art at an early age. Self taught, as well as trained by other professionals, she has mastered numerous 'faux' industry materials and techniques.

Thru her Canvas Art Division Joyce will be providing a unique opportunity to explore the creative aspect of going from canvas to walls-walls to canvas.

By using the 'faux' materials and a trowel you will be able to create a 3-dimensional carved piece of art on a canvas! As well as understanding the process needed to transfer the principal application to any wall surface.
