Hi Tima. I really don't mind helping others withe some of the knowledge I've gained so far. Any luck finding lightweight cementitious vertical resurfacing mortar in your country? The photo's you've posted of your work looks very good to me. What mixture did you use?
Hi Tima,
Thanks for the nice comment. Your stone wall looks really nice also. Did you use texture pads on that or is it all hand carved? Would like to see it painted up.
All the best,
Jason.
Hello Tima !! ..let me ask you a question about the product of kirt bag/Carvin mix, I am with the doubt of how the material that comes with the product mixtures that is a bag of mortar-cement of 60-80 lbs.
And this brings added sand or only is pure cement??... i am referring to the mortar-cement that blends with the product of/kirtbag-Carvin mix., my question is because I sense that you must bring in a certain proportion of the mortar sand to add to the mixture of kirt bag mix i you could alarar this doubt if it is not discomfort?? ..thanks Tima!
hey jose, the kirtbag is mixed with what you would use for laying brick. A pre bagged mortar mix that has sand and cement in it. When you mix Kirtbag with the pre bagged mortar mix, it becomes a vertical mix. The admixes and chemicals turns the pre bagged mortar mix into a creamier and stickier consistancy which hangs on the wall better and gives you 4 or so hour of work time. Hope this helped.
Hello Tima!.. .thanks for your kind response, referring to the mixture for vertical < kirtbag mix > artisans and jeff also thank his gracious response, is for me a good orientation, because in the future already sabre how to use it, because now I am my own mix... have a fabulous day!!..
I hope my English will understand well, thank you!
