This is a project our studio recently made.  The rock work was done with cast rock panels and the mounts are held by steel posts that are inside the rock work.

Wow...beautiful work!  I love the animation in your work.  Perhaps some very thin piano wire with some faux snow attached would make some nice kicked up snow coming from those hooves ;-)  Great looking work!
