Sorry Wayne, I hadn`t seen the "fusion epoxy" written on left corner. All clear !
Know a bit about the colorful outcomes when using epoxy systems, but I have not used them yet. Truly love the variagated effects... would you mind telling us how you get the effect? Using a base coat and then puring the effect epoxy ??? I`d like to know from an actual user not just info on internet. What`s your experience with those wonderful compounds? Thanks for input
Wayne, I made contact with a few serious companies marketing good epoxy systems, so I`m on my way to trying, but materials are expensive shipped overseas, so I do want to run a trial test before offering my service to clients. Did you start off by applying a base coat, and then proceed to layer your effect colors and sort of wiggle them trying to get some random mix pattern? I understand from that point on the epoxy does the rest moving almost magically around. After talking to knowledgable folks in concrete finish forums, and seeing so many failures due to mostly incorrect substrate prep, I,m learning on my own and with some people`s help how I`d go about to avoid costly failures. A concern of mine in that respect is outgassing of moisture contained within concrete slab or under it, thus I thought of applying a so called moisture barrier compound before even going with the base coat. What`s your feeling on this?
Thanks Wayne for your input.
