An interesting note: this is just a sample for a fountain, and the problem is there isn´t  that type of stone around here as proposed, so my only alternative was to carve them, which I  wouldn´t mind if I had to. Nonetheless, the challenge was finding real stones to cut down labor time, better profit, and possibly better looking work. So I precast these rustic stones. Lots of learning, love it. Had to calibrate eights so as to follow a neat natural looking line given by different sizes… The natural look is fantastic, the depth is great, and  fairly  fast laying them down.  Great achivement, but the client has not seen it yet, lol. Hope she likes it. Before she comes, I will improvise a little hoze comtraption to see how it looks with water trickling down. Nathan, it´s acrylics over a fresh cement wash, just a base tone, some more colors will be added. Thanks guys!
