Just some counters
very cool love the bird foot prints!!
Counters are for Red Rooster Winery in the Okanagan Valley.
Very fine looking counter top.
Thanks Don !
Nice bar top Tim. I`ve just tried some counter top ideas and still get some pesky bug holes. How can I go about them in your view? Do I put bird prints on them? lol. Thought next time I`ll strain the dry portland cement, add some water and slowly mix the cement avoiding air entrapment. Again, I know at least the first cement contacting the formica mold should be pretty fluid, but too much water after curing should also leave tiny holes (PORES) and a softer top... ain`t that so? Thanks for any input
i know that the addition of pozzalons will fill the gaps between the cement particles and the sand, which makes less places for air, and makes for a much denser mix. Vibrating it like crazy helps also. Just my two cents...
We use pozzalons as well and we have vibrating tables as well. These vibrating tables can have very low to high frequencies. This works very well for us , hope this is helpful.
Jeff and Tim thanks, definitely, those two factors will reduce reduce bugholes
