Yeah, they found a closeout deal on a freestanding vent-fee gas fireplace, so me and the boys framed that beast in, then ran the mahogany mantle pieces through the table saw so the firebox would sit further back in the vertical soon to be carved. I've always learned quickest and best when my feet are to the fire, and this time my feet are ON fire. No worries, though, because the two Vertical Artisans sites has prepared me well for this moment! Thanks again for Nathan and the rest of you, however new or old you are to this.
