This is the view of the space from inside the house. A lot of thought and designing went into this project in order to overcome the obstacles that stood in our way and to make it look like it belonged. As you can see, the bottom of the large windows were lower than the counter top height, so in order to deal with that, I designed the window well planter for visual purpose and that crated the backsplash needed around the counter top. I lined the window well so it is water proof and I installed a drain , just in case. All of the carving on this project was completed with KirtBag Carving Mix.
