Hmmmmmm, a blur really. One all nighter and a few shorter days. The knee wall was already in place. Day one: Formed and poured countertop, furred out column, lathe and scratch coat. Day 2: Came a little late ( ; had some coffee, stripped the countertop, penciled design. Coated column first, than the flat areas. The darker areas on the main part was stamped first than we applied more mud on top to give it dimension. Some stamping, some carving, and a lot of rubbing. After that we carved out the column. Day 3: Colored. My wife used fossilcrete's colorant on the gray areas and I used Smith's on the column. Than we came back a couple more times to deal with the countertop to create some cool effects on that and then to seal it. I really appreciate the compliment. I was really happy with it. Thanks again! Scott
