Thanks for posting your progress pics its great to go back and look at pics like these. Just curious why use the it looks like 3" foam for the substrate why not just use plywood ? Respectfully  :^)

That there was actually tyvek wrap. We were trying to keep the wood from pulling moisture from the mix
