Hey Mike, you could always come down with the family for a Canadian Rocky Mountain vacation and I'll let you take this one with you.

A little bubble wrap and you're good to go!

Looks nice Christian...very natural mottling effect. When painting with acrylics I get similar effects using alcohol splashed onto the canvas. Never tried this on concrete. You could use your technique to great effect on large rocklike features. Did you use acid stains for your piece or was this colored with antique powder release?

Hope all is good for you and your wife....take care...Scott

Thanks Scott, this was all done with 5 water based stains. Tobacco from Walt Tools, Taupe, Boulder, grey/blue, and Grey/black from Butterfield color. Most of the effect was created by misting with water and sponging randomly.
