Started playing with overlays for driveways, sidewalks, etc..back around the end of July did about 7 or 8 sample boards for counter tops and this was my first table I did about 2 months ago. Coloring just seems to come natural to me or I just get real lucky :)  Either way they seem to turn out nice. Thanks for your compliment.

terry .... i really liked your counter top finish.. i'm really impressed by the fact that this is your first table. did you use branded countertop mix or you mixed the mud yourself?? which brand do you recommend for sealer?

Tim that`s an outstanding  top to be your first one ! I myself have played a bit with cement, so I`d like to take up a little project for a friend, but I`m trying a few things out first. As I understand, using either melamine or formica gives a very slick fiish that needs not grinding (which I`d hate). Those color stripes look very nice. Did you use PAP for finish...I`d like to share some stuff, and ask you a couple questions if you don`t mind.

This was a formica table that was covered with an overlay cement product then colored and then epoxy coated. No problem Nelson just ask you can email me directly if you like
