The entire staircase is sculpting epoxy and steel. The tree is rebar/shotcrete with epoxy finish coat.

The upcoming class will be concrete tecniques. I'm still debating whether or not I'll have time to include any epoxy tecniques cause its a whole other ballgame. As with anything yes it takes practice, but the basics are actually pretty easy if you watch someone do it. The tricks I learned for creating wood were all learned through trial and error I never got to see how the others in the industry did it so it took me some time to be comfortable with it on a large scale.

I beleive this was the first time we worked on an epoxy tree together isnt it Ken? Am I forgetting?
