So.... I am experimenting with white cement and natural sand mixes to create finished that go deeper than a thin paint job. The customer i made this fireplace for was delighted with the natural sandstone style i used. I will try some small sea shells in the sand mix for the next sandstone finish. Up close you will be able to pick out the shells as if they were deposited as fossils in the sandstone. Hope you find this interesting :--)
