Thanks Scott,yeah the substrate was pretty flimsy. Beefed it up w/ extra 2x6's. Hey what's a good bonding agent to use. I scratched the under side of bunkbed but wanted to use bonding agent for extra protection :^)

i use lanco bonding agent pretty common to find at large home improvment stores.
