What are you doing to succeed in a slow market?
Diversify - offer services with countertop resurfacing, cabinetry refinishing, decorative painting on furniture remodeling - outside the scope of custom wall finishes.

Also, writing articles for local magazine and assisting non-profit organizations with special events.

What states are you willing to work in?
Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee - they pretty much border the Virginia area. Though, paid or charged travel expenses will be part of the project.

Are there any areas that you specialize in?
Textured surfaces such as Venetian Plaster, European aged looks. Cabinet refinishing. Decorative painting on furniture.
Are there special products or favorites that you like to use, If so what are they?
Modern Metallics, Faux Effects - there are others, but I find these products pretty much take care of what I need.

Hi Juliana,
Pascal,Sean,Pierre,Nicola, I am very familiar with all of them. They are a great bunch of guys I have learned so much from them all, over the years. Faux Effects I use alot of and I also use Goldens line Proceed and have just started to use thier new line which is called Open.
The marble technique is a combination from all that I have had classes with and basically came up with my own way of doing marble, Sean Crosby who ia partners with Pascal, teaches a phenominal marble teachnique but mainly it takes alot of practice and understanding marble structure.
