- Presently I am planning projects for my garden. I purchased an old home and would like to create cement sculptures, a rock garden and one or more ponds. Also, I am very much interested in covering some areas of the exterior of my home with an artificial rock finish.
I have created several sculptures and rocks from concrete, mixing perlite or vermiculite into the cement to create lightweight pieces. I created cement sculptures directly built on the vire frame into urethane mould to create hollow sculptures and used break-a-way plaster mould as a negative form to make concrete sculptures. There is so much to lead, and I love the versatility and the constant visibility of concrete.
