I found some stuff --- This is satire and just some humor ... Kirt Bag mix is a well respected bag mix.

I have been reading all the nice comments on Kirt's bag mix and have been slightly skeptical to all that I have read...I still have yet to use the stuff for myself so I got on the internet to see if I could dig up some research or some examples of my own...

I was surprised to see what I found... here are a few things...

" I used Kirt's bag mix to replace a missing tooth....and I love it...now all I have to do is stain it white"

" I was very disappointed with the neck braces that were available to me until I discovered the Kirt's bag mix...not only is my neck getting better but its the new rage."

" When I want the edge in the court room I just put on my Kirt's Bag mix custom glasses"

"  In today's economy fixing a flat can cost up to 100 USD so I was very excited about the savings when I discovered the Kirt's bag mix option. "

Well there you have it.... I am a believer.

Crazy this is! I too have used all three mixes described above (and others) and I have built relationships with the three different gentlemen that can call each one of the mixes there own. I like all three mixes and the guys that own them!

With that being said, I am sure when Vertifaux came out and people used it for the first time, it was all over the forum. Then I am sure when Tru-Pac first came out the same happened with it ( I remember when I started my company, there was alot of talk about it) and now that another good vertical mix has came out, people are talking about it too. It is natural, let it run it's course!

Nathan, I consider you a friend and we have had alot of meaningful conversations, good laughs and I have listened to your advise and taken it to heart. You have told me that you want the largest sight on the web to promote this industry and craft, if that is the case you are going to have too allow this to naturally happen on your forum when a new product, tool or technique comes out. This sight is here to promote the art, the products, the tools and all of our passion! I can think of a few items on this forum that have been talked about and brought up a few times. If you ask me (which nobody is asking me but I am going to tell anyways lol) I think it is awesome that there is another Vertcal Carving mix on the market! It has many benefits like competition, it gives us artists on the forum the chance to discuss the different mixes, it keeps the industry growing and achieving new heights, it does not allow a Microsoft in the Vertical industry. We have heard alot about your Business in a Box and now Walt Tools have developed some new rollers and stamps. Those are both great examples of the awesome items that are being invented so that all of us can perfect our craft, build our businesses and expand this wonderful industry. It is obvious that there are alot of individuals that care about the "Art of Carving" enough to develop the latest and greatest in ideas, techniques, tools and mixes. What is even better is that there is a place on the web (Vertical Artisans Forum) that we can go and talk about it. I believe that is what this forum is for, am I correct?

Now with that being said, I have made some great friends in this industry and most all of them are on this forum. I am not posting anything or saying anything that is taking sides or defending one person or the other. I am just stating my opinion on this subject matter. I am on the "same team" as all of you.

Cheers

LOL. CORRECTION TO MY POST,  middle of second paragraph -"I remember when I started my company, there was alot of talk about it". "IT" being Try-Pac, not my company. Man I laughed when I read that after I posted it................

Agreed, and well put....I was not trying to belittle only be fun.... I'm some what of a comic in many ways and it bleeds out into this site from time to time...as anyone who knows me personally....there is no problem here

.

The problem with texting, internet and forum posts is sometimes the "feeling" doesn't get across accurately... That's not gonna stop me posting something humorous on my own site...we are all well rounded here and I'm not above anyone else's point of view....

I wish there were more of it.....this is a forum...covers all not just the agendas.

Hey guys, lets suppose more concrete carvers will be joining in, but many of them probably do not have extensive experience as you do. Im one of them, grin.  Given all particular properties each mix brand has, wouldn`t be a good idea that  brand owners state particular property that differenciate their brand from the others`like the right mix for upside down carving, while playing with girl friend and so on ? lol

Speaking of jokes Nathan,  is there a key component which I`m pretty sure bag mixers use at lower or higher concentrations depending on their use preference, to make the mix light weight??? Mixing and coming up with a decent seleable formula is not in my mind at all. The problem is a do a bit carving down where I live S.America (near the jungle, hah, hah, lots of monkeys you know...), but importing mixes is just unprofitable now. Maybe grinding expanded clay... any half-ass mix would be like perfect. Any kind help would be appreciated. Bad joke is my guess !

Forgot to say I`m sending for instructional video packages, they only include CD`s not mix samples...lol.

Nelson

I don't know what anyone else will offer you on a mix for your remote area and the country you live in, but you should try sand, cement and a polymer (2-1 ratio on your sand and cement and then your polymer is to your liking. Different people will tell you different ratios depending on the polymer). Keep it simple and learn to use it to it's potential. If you decide to use a bagged "Vertical" mix then you will have a chance to see how it works. But if you have not been able to use it yet, don't sweat it. Because you have the huge hurdle to get over called shipping cost!

NEWS FLASH !!!!

The recent crash of Americas top secret spy plan over Iranian soil has the States Department in a scuff.

But what has the Iranians baffled it the new composites that comprise the outer shell of the aircraft.   Its light weight and durable "cementeous" surface has  leading investigators really guessing.

A press release  by allied forces show that this space aged product can be purchased in smaller quantities know as Kirt Bag Mix.   This is the primary reason why the aircraft failed in flight.   But not all is lost, the aircraft  has remained remarkably undamaged by the crash.

Oh crap, I didn't know you guys were joking. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can chip this Kirt Tooth out of my mouth without any collateral damage? On the bright side, I was able to do a 1.25 cm vertical dental build-out with no problems whatsoever!
