I was reading on the v/a forum site, and one of the guys mentioned a company called stonemakers.net so I looked them up and they do stacked mud/concrete  walls.  There technique is ok . And I am pretty sure the one day walls seminar  is over . But I was just wondering what are the admixtures everyone keeps talking about that help the concrete be more workable ?

I believe there is plasticizers and molasses which slows it down, for carving. We used fiber mesh in the mix to.  One Gallon per yard, of the plasticizers and molasses.  There where  studies done in college in India which shows increase in strength of the concrete due to slowing it down and using plasticizers. It allowed more crystallization through longer time in hydration.  Try it in small batch and tell me what you think? I was brave anough to try it on a job....lol It came good. Need to experiment with it.

The owner of Stone-makers, makes a killing. Because as a product installer, they have to purchase it from that Stone makers.
