(Complete) OLD STONE TABLES CLASS (1-3 DAYS)

OK the date is soon coming....this will be a start to finish class with one table being created for a company called " Every Blooming Thing"

I have spoken with the owners and have the permission to fabricate a Old Stone Table in the very front of their business.   This will be out in the public and we will be using this as an example to show contractors how to network with local landscapes and nurseries to build their repertoire.

The class dates will be soon coming... I can do this any time and would like some feed back as to what else we may do in this time frame.

The cost of this class will only be $300 and all Students participating will receive the OLD STONE CLASS ONLINE FOR FREE  when released.

The class will be held in the public on location and in the ware house of Walt Tools.

The Painting of this piece will happen on the third day and final day...

Im thinking a Thur - Sat for days.  Will finalize on Monday the 29th.

Dates....

OK The foam should be in town by tomorrow May 2nd.   I will start carving the foam next week.

I will be carving this piece form the 6th - 10th

First I will be at Walt Tools on the 6th hot wiring the foam and setting in place the various elements.

Then after that I will deliver the pieces to the job site ( EBT ) and scratch coat it ... then Thursday or Friday I will carve it....depends on weather.

I will let it sit over the week end and then come back and stain it....and then turn on the lights.

Hey Nathan, That looks absolutely beautiful, I'm sure your clients were thrilled. I wish I was able to make it there to see it done, but it was too short notice.

Question, You said you used Trupac-X for that correct? Did you tint the mix then color? Or is that coloring all done at the end? Just wondering..I'm doing a project next week using the TruPac-X over foam for a top, and want to get a natural finish like that, just wondering your approach of it....

I choose not to speak for Nathan but there was no integral color used.  This was all Tru Tints the following day.  Opinions vary on integral.  if you have a huge project with a specific base color, go for it and use the coloring at the end to add more detail.

Just that the integral is purely a color tone and will not show any contrast thus is pretty boring without the extra coloring at the end anyway.

Forthcoming will be a video of this entire color process I believe. It is vary cool as you can see.
