This is a non lightweight aggregate mix. You dont need it to be lightweight to hang. This is a dense very workable mix that is twice as hard as anything out there. Watch out, changing the way vertical is done. To be continued.

i get it nathan.  Ive seen that vid before, silly but interesting. I also have never seen someones pic altered before. I respect you and your work and am not trying to discredit anyone or anything. Im excited about this mix and cant wait to put it out there. There is no gimmick, just a great product.

I believe you...Let me know when it is released....send me a bag...I'll carve with it and tell you what I think.

What state are you in and what will your distribution be?  That seems to be the biggest problem with most of the manufactures out there.

I will. Your opinion will be important.  I have a good friend that owns a trucking business and he will be hauling for me . He is all over the place and is giving me a great deal. I have a couple people in the south and west interested in be distributors also, almost have my ducks in a row. lol

If you put 80 pounds of anything on a wall, you have 80 pounds on the wall. Its not a light 80 pounds, its 80 pounds. Plus, if you add a lightweight agg. to your mix, your adding weight. So is it lighter than a non lightweight agg mix? Ive tested lightweight to my mix and the difference is so minimal, i dont think the wall minds. I will send you some and see for yourself how much easier it is to manipulate and finish.

Its funny, the term lightweight vertical is a coined phrase that someone made up to make people think that it is what you have to do. Its false. The minimal extra weight, if any, will not pull a wall down. Remember, you are not always working on a 2x4 constructed wall. Do you have to have lightweight mix if your overlaying a concrete or block wall? I agree, lightweight is helpful for overhead applications, but not much else. These mixes have no body to them, kinda like a hollow shell , not very good workability. A dense mix doesnt have to equal heavy. Its has body and can be manipulated without tearing and finishes more easily. As you can tell, im very passionate about this and have done endless r&d.

I have a fever.....and the remedy is 80# of concrete on a wall ready to be carved.

Jeff how long have you been working on this mix?  What other light weight mixes have you used?

ive been working on it for almost three years now. Ive used flex cement, tru pac, cantera.Ive  talked to alot of people about the mixes they used and listened to the pros and cons they had. Ive put all that together and come up with this. Ive been in the concrete field as a finisher and laborer for 21 yrs. Ive delt with all aspects of concrete. Overlays, stamped, exposed, broom, etc. Ive done a ton of patching and used about every patching product out there.
