Bottom half of the display I'm putting in this years Home & Garden show. Just finishing placing the capstone. Impatiently waiting to start the coloring process.

Thanks.

Making a two-part display for a Home & Garden Show display. This base will be topped by a (for lack of a better description) barber pole. The "pole" will be an OSB box that slips over the post that can be seen extending from the top of this pillar, and will have carved stone & wood elements. I'm planning on leaving the top only half-complete to display the structure elements and so i can go into my "can be done over any substrate speech"

When the show's all done. I suspect this will find it's way into my garden, I'll remove the sign-post and replace it with some garden-appropriate top.

Very nice piece.  Excellent relief work from stone to stone.  Apparent depth is right on.

Thanks Don. That's all done with your Tru-Pac mortar conversion material, texture rollers, trowels and wedge tools. It's all good stuff, I love 'em.
