Real nice work Mark
Thanks John-Paul........I'm really leaning towards the darker but it only looks good when it's wet.....Walt tools has a sealer thats invisible....I wish there was a sealer that that had the wet look without that shiny / glossy look
Try a matt or satin oil based sealer, not sure of any brands that are out there in the States but there is a really good hard wearing one that Ive found over here that doesn't quite give it a wet look but more of a deep lustre that really looks good under feature lighting. Good luck finding something
So far in the states all I've found is complete matt that adds nothing to the "pop" of the color or sealer that looks like someone dumped high gloss plastic on rock. I wouldn't mind a wet look as long as it didn't have the shiny fake look
Years back, I knew of people using tranny fluid to get the wet look with no shine on saltillo tile.
Thats interesting, I think i'll test some
Hey Mark, try Trinic's Stamp Shield. Its a penatrating sealer that adds pop without the plastic look. thats all i use on my stamp work and overlays.
I'll look into Chris, hopefully they have test containers
also Walttools just came out with one as well called Heal and Seal. I think i saw that you have dealt with Don before.
I ordered a gallon of Trinics......which is nice for testing, I think Walt tools is flat and doesn't add any "pop" to the colorant, the darker colors need a little help
