What are you using for color and how do you like it?

dion i believe in using any and all means of coloring stone  as long as its durable and and safe. i like thinned latex paint when doing old plaster look aroun my exposed stone various shades layered on in various ways the stone is thinned gray enamel paint dabbed on with a brush and some lighter tan tones sponged over that than sanded all to heck to et a worn dusty look. again i have tried lots and lots of stuff .i love all the stains out there except acid i only use that on floors i believe using many diff things will give me a more intresting look i also do a bit of shadow painting.
