First Vertical project for me at "The Hoot Owl Lodge" in Adirondack Mts. NY.  Thanks to Jeff Kirt and Kirt Bag Vertical Mix, this job was a definite success.  Until talking with Jeff, I have tried several vertical mixes on the market, and none of them quite held up to the quality of Kirt Bag.  Thank you Jeff for sharing your knowledge and techniques with me, and can't wait for the next project.  I'm sure there will be more.  Anyone new to the forum or vertical world, I highly recommend giving Jeff a call and giving Kirt Bag Vertical Mix a shot on your next project.  Thanks again to Jeff Kirt and the Vertical Artisans site for your help this far.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Chris, that positive carving is awesome.  I can see why you're hooked! Seeing something come alive like that, definitely gets you going and psyched for the next one.  Really want to try my hand at something like that for next spring. Think I better start in my backyard first though. LOL. Looks awesome Chris!

Mike, this honestly is the first I have seen of this project. I talked to Jeff while he was there helping you?
KirtBag Carving Mix is a wonderful mix! It is being proven day after day. It was designed and tweaked by guys that carve every day and want to use a mix that is easy and reliable. We are converting concrete carving artists all the time because of its track record. Your project is a true testament. Thanks

Hey Dion.  Thanks for the comment, and yes, Kirtbag is awesome stuff. Anyone in the northeast, Jeff told me about a guy in Conn. that ships Kirtbag out of his warehouse.  Shippings fast and the guy is really cool and easy to work with. Working on a fireplace now with Kirtbag. Stuff impresses every time.  The guy in Conn. is Custom Crete. Steve 203 773 9980.
