You are teaching the wood, foe and vertical carving in your class in Oregon?
I'm definately showing how I do sharp fractured rock. Nathan has discussed doing some wood and roots coming into the room as well but it is yet to be decided if there will be time to combine the two. What I DONT want to do is rush through the rockwork teaching portion because I want to make it worth everyones time and money so we'll see. Anyone who is in this business needs to learn how to properly use the epoxy because it gives you alot more options to offer a client. Quite frankly concrete isnt gonna work in all circumstances so its always a good thing to have an extra feather in your cap.
A perfect example is the photo above. The architect wanted a rustic staircase built from natural materials. Well, from an engineering standpoint its impossible so after they scrapped the idea I told them we could build it no problem. The entire staircase including the steps is nothing more than steel and epoxy.
Indeed ... we may have to create a future class with just epoxys
mike or nathan are you going ton have vdo for sale of classes for thows who can't make it
Yes, I beleive Nathan will video it.
