Hey matt, it should be fine as long as its tight between the rebars. Otherwise you will get a rebound sffect and the mix will fall off. Add some fibers to the mix also, it will help.

ya ditto to what jeff said . Stretch the lathe as tight as you can. You'll get less sag between the bars. If you get to much blow by dial back your air pressure a bit. Happy spraying

 Spray a light coat, just enough to dirty up the lathe, on one day, then the next day you can really stack it.

Thanks for the advice guys, Because its a fair area to cover and ill just be doing it myself does it matter if my first coat does not get the whole lot? like can i break it up into like 3 pours or will that cause a weak point?
