I am about to perform some work in a shower. I want to ask everyone who has experience with sealing of a rock finish in the shower. What is best to seal with?

Keep away mold and also mildew on finish? What is best in your opinion?

Thanks in advance for your help.

if u'r doing a shower i STRONGLY suggest eco pro cote Submersible clear coat

it's designed for constant underwater use and sprays REAL nicely. i just coated a huge cave shower (check out my pics) and it has a very nice finish. a little shiney but just enough to make it look wet it's not super glossy. also make sure u over build u'r shower. the riased and lowered humidity in such an area can promote movement. I studded at 12 inch centers and used 1/2 inch concrete board. be sure to use proper concrete board screws.  i learned my lesson with this one - use a lot of material on the walls. we cheaped out and went about 3/4 " of crete on the walls and had a pretty bad cracking issue. use at least 1 " - 1 1/2" of crete to stop the cracking issues. as for the floor, i could go on forever . let me know what u'r plan is for the floor (base / membrane system) and i can offer a tonn of advice on that too. i am in canada and i know we have diffenrent ways of building things so it'd be interresting to see

thanks for the advice brother, I value all input. your work is awesome brother. thanks again.
