Yes...if you don't use a lot you can spray bottle it off. I also have mentioned vacuuming it off as well. You just want the surface clean form loose particulate and dust before you start to stain.

After using the release powder, do you wash it off. I've not seen you do this on any lesson. But the floor stampers wash off the release as far as I know.
