"Just" saw a news story on WCCO TV news in Minneapolis, MN about a guy in (I think) Brooklyn Park, MN. He made his own 3D printer, and "printed" a twelve foot high concrete castle. Apparently Disney has heard about this and is interested. I'm sure there will be more stories on this in the near future.
