Well it's the first day here and it was raining off an on.. . There is a lot of excitement as there are all ready students who have come in early and have began to get envolved with the prep work...
We have started to put all the rooms together and clean up the place all in preparation for Mondays start....
...... I will begin to post pictures .... Jody Smith is here and working his magic on the photos as well....
Ok ... Today was interesting. It started off cool and nice we began to prep the room for David Seils, several of the guys put a Portland slurry on the wall to prep for a base coat that recieved a spong finish. This will seve as a back drop to the art work David will do throughout the week. We also dug the footings for the moon Gate, seat wall and the rock retaining wall on the south side if the house. Steve Kornher's area is really shaping up nicely. There looks to be a lot of progress but I do not know all the steps to his process....his area is really gonna shine as it's the lead in to the spa area....
We also put the moon gate together and I can hadly wait to sculpt this thing. ....
Bent Mikkleson (owner of the concrete decor magazine) stopped by today with a new manufacturer of ICF systems. Really cool stuff, looking forward to seeing what becomes of that introduction....
