Scott, Thanks for the warm welcome! Since this is just a hobby my home, and a creative outlet for me (graphic artist/photographer by trade) I'm trying to justify the cost of a membership to myself.
You do some amazing work!!!

Osiris, you are on the right track. The question is what do you have access to as far as pozzalons, admixtures, and such. That has all the bearing on what you mix can consist of. Try not to over complicate things. People make it more complex than it really is to make it seem hard for consumer to get. You need about five ingrediants or less to make a great mix.
Thanks for the welcome Scott! You already know my partner in crime. i've been meaning to join VA for over a year now. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's work and getting some inspiration and tips!
With the incredible wood work you do, you seem to be one who might have sound advise for what I am looking to do. My house has about 20 pine doors. They where built in the 60's and are good quality wood, with sound joints. The have some ugly glossy poly finish on them. I want to refinish them and get a hand rubbed non gloss antique type of finish. Any suggestions on what to use would be greatly appreciated. Hope things are going well for ya down there. We have been in the 80's temp wise here. Feels like I'm living back in Florida.
I´m here to learn. I work in Spain with my little company and we make construcction works and exterior wood works , but sometimes I am working in amusements parks and they want a small works of artificial rocks (in penguins , sea lions or elephants zone). I need to learn of you because in Spain is very dificoult to learn and only I can to experiment.... (Sorry for my english , only speak spanish).
