Hi everybody!
I'm new to Vertical Artisan and are very excited and looking forward to learning from all of you. I've got my own small landscaping business and build water features and water walls.

One thing I've noticed from your photo's on projects is that the plaster you use seems to look almost like "clay"...
I use normal mixing of 1 part cement : 3 parts plaster sand and mix this with a bonding liquid. I struggle with vertical surfaces, when building an uneven surface.
Any suggestions or help please?

Do you do all the work yourself? The Subscription will benefit you greatly. What types of carving are you primarily looking to learn?
Yes I do all the work myself with one helper. We live in a very small town and my business is very new still. When you say the subscription will benefit, can you please tell me if this will help me when I can't get hold of Verti-faux or Flex-C-ment? I've contacted everyone in Namibia regarding this, but no luck. Importing this is the only alternative, but don't want to go that far as this will be extremely costly. I'm currently looking to import stamps with release agent.
Whether a novice or an expert you will find a lot of tips and tricks in this site. There is a detailed list of the contents of the site on the VA main page.
I would call the vendors directly and go at it from that angle. Many times dealers don't make public what they are willing to carry. In some cases people even purchase manufacture direct because no dealer carries the products.
Yes, for me it too a problem, would like to know, the subscription will help-whether if there is no possibility to get your firm mixes, after all I work as a simple solution, cement, sand, water,

I have contacted all cement manufacturers in Namibia and South Africa, but nobody can help me with this special type of cement. Is it possible you can perhaps tell me if anybody exports to Namibia. I will keep looking on this site. I've come across a few very helpful sites and will contact some of the manufacturers there too to try get a price on export. Thank you for your help.
