Paul, it is looking really good. It has been great to see a really long term project come to life. You should be very proud of yourself for this accomplishment. It was a long time ago since you made your initial call to us for info. Very well done.

The timbers are 180 year old Northern White Cedar. Old growth trees. Somewhat hard/petrified for cedar.

I put the timber frame up myself with 4 other guys and my crane. i posted pictures in my photo albulm of the timbers going up as well as the concrete walls. Be aware that the wall which I did the vertical carved concrete is solid 8" poured concrete. It's strong enough to hold the weight of the overlay. We did two pallets of Walt Tools Tru-pac as well as 8 pallets of quickcrete mortar. 70 gallons of concrete stain. A lot of material on the wall.
