concrete construction. 3d drafting and designing, CAD, using Chief Architect. Classically trained mechanical engineer.

We design and build concrete buildings using insulated concrete forms (ICFs). We also rescue antique timber frames and incorporate antique lumber into new structures, adding carved barnstones.

Thanks all for the great compliments on my first project.



the stones vary from 1.5" to 3". about 4 stones we built up to 4". doing the window and door headers was a challenge. had to build just an inch, carve joints and scratch. then lay next inch on top. otherwise it peels off. the carving mix was quickcrete mortar with Tru-pac additive from Walt Tools.

There is cement for the sculpture in Japan. The white cement is used. It is pre-mixed. 
Paints used the Smith paint. The basis is three colors.
