I`ve manage to carve some decent rocks for deco purposses, but time for acrylic water painting has come and find myself in trouble, lol. I do have a good painting basic background, nonetheless coloring separate rocks that are so close, like the ones showing on main page made by Nathan seems a titanic work. Even though I`m after a few different colors and tones for the column stones, spraying neighboring ones with wrong color to then go over, and over to repaint seems a foreever lasting …

Many times over the last several years I have done classes or training for folks and there has always been things that have been left out that are critical to the over all productivity of the job. These can be small things but they are really important. So this is a check list that may help you stay focused and prepared.

Hello everyone, just want to update you all on some KBag news. KBag Carving Mix is now available in Canada. Now my friends in the north can get it. I have also aquired a shipping company that can ship a pallett for $200 or less. Thats right, anywhere in the United States for under $200. Now shipping isnt the issue for purchasing KBag. Im constantly looking to help everyone save money on mix to help this industry grow. Without a reasonably priced mix that performs how you want it to, you…

There has been an increase recently in the number of people putting “man caves” in their residences. A man cave is a room wholly committed to the male head of the household, a sanctuary for the male to relax and refresh away from stylish sofas and pourris. It's not the worst move for residence values either, as it may add just a little more to the bottom line comes time to sell the house. Article source:…

I wanted everyone to know that the Vertical Artisans International Web Site is underway. This Web site will be another teaching site very much like the first one, however, the VDO's will not have any voice over and the teaching will be primarily text, diagrams and pictures. The VDO's will be illustrations of what is taught.
On the face of the site people will be able to click on the flag from which country they are from and the entire site will be converted to their own…

I need to make a sample board, more precisely a worn, weathered one. An actual old piece of wood shall help, but tips and advise are very useful. Thought about making a few texture rollers since I lived far from US, and by the time I order and receive shipment oportunity may be gone, at least to make the sample for a client. Coloring the foix bois is of no concern Any tutorial reference on this, tips of any sort? Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have been reading all the nice comments on Kirt's bag mix and have been slightly skeptical to all that I have read...I still have yet to use the stuff for myself so I got on the internet to see if I could dig up some research or some examples of my own...
I was surprised to see what I found... here are a few things...…

Kirt's Bags mixture
On the average installation using Portland and Sand is common , But a new generation of polymers and cement mixture is given us new opportunity to improve on strength and workability.
After using kirt’s bag, I realize how much easer the job can get:
1 Very smooth to trawl and finish
2 Flexibility and Time to work
3 So strong that became water proofing
4 Lower cost since you will add his bags to your existing…

I just want to give a shout-out to the Walttools guys. The new texture rollers are awesome and I was totally jacked to see the fossil stamps in the package! (thank you!) I am going to have to add new 'lily-pads' to my garden just so I can use the dinosaur foot prints... and the 'inny' and 'outy' curly shells are awesome.
We've jsut finish carving our log house project and should be coloring it by Thursday or Friday. The Tru-Pak has been behaving wonderfully, given that we are working…

Hey, everyone is always asking when more to0ls are coming. Just finished up with three new roller sleeves. Striated Slate, Gnarly Stone and Light Bark. They will fit well in the line. Also a week away from another vertical stamp kit. Granite Castle Stone. a very simple old word look that will be easy to tailor to your own look.
More coming as well. Thanks for all the support for the tools and Tru Pac systems.
Have a great holiday season, can't believe it is here…

My uncle showed me a documentary that made my blood run cold. I began to admire this kids spunk.
What he does is so dangerous I would never attempt but as over 50% of his profession are all ready dead.
His accomplishments are truly amazing. I would like to just see some of this rock first hand.
