All right guys I have great progress on this wine cellar... It started out as just a few spare rooms ( 10' x 14' ) and ( 14' x 11' ) with an elevator in the middle. Here are some before demo…Continue
Well it is the end of another day in Nashville. Today was very fun and long. We all worked very hard today to complete the carving phase of this project. What made it difficult was the morning class I had to teach. The class ended at 12 noon and we then began to start our regular day which consisted of finishing the stone work around the guitar and application of the plaster.
We finished the stone and got a little more than half way down the wall with the plaster coat and ran out of mix. We were going to chicken soup it but the boyz at Contractor Source cowboy'd up and brought us over 4 bags of Tru-Pac....Than saved the day and made my job a lot easier. So it looked like we were all going to make it to a special dinner last night. However the staff decided to come down and tell us that there was a concert tomorrow night and we had to be finished before 2pm the next day. I was not made aware of this small detail from the Staff of Concrete Decor. They prob didn't even know about it either. So we all decided to pull a double. I bought everyone Mexican and we listen to Blues CD's until 9:45 pm when we finally finished base coating the whole project. I have Smith paints coming in the morning about 10 am and we should make the dead line. We all enjoyed the company of one another and razed each other with nick names. Some can't be mentioned on this forum.
Enjoy the Pics we will be finished tomorrow instead of Friday. Get ready for a fantastic wall people.
