Hey guys,  the sculpture is looking Amazing.  Nice work!  Did it take as long to carve all the detail as it looks like it should have?  I'm glad you are finding time to take a break and play fooz ball.  It's a great stress reliever.  Then again, so is carving concrete:)

Well it is the end of another day in Nashville.   Today was very fun and long.  We all worked very hard today to complete the carving phase of this project.   What made it difficult was the morning class I had to teach.  The class ended at 12 noon and we then began to start our regular day which consisted of finishing the stone work around the guitar and application of the plaster.

We finished the stone and got a little more than half way down the wall with the plaster coat and ran out of mix.  We were going to chicken soup it but the boyz at Contractor Source  cowboy'd up and brought us over 4 bags of Tru-Pac....Than saved the day and made my job a lot easier.  So it looked like we were all going to make it to a special dinner last night.  However the staff decided to come down and tell us that there was a concert tomorrow night and we had to be finished before 2pm the next day.   I was not made aware of this small detail from the Staff of Concrete Decor.   They prob didn't even know about it either.   So we all decided to pull a double.  I bought everyone Mexican and we listen to Blues CD's until 9:45 pm when we finally finished base coating the whole project.  I have Smith paints coming in the morning about 10 am and we should make the dead line.  We all enjoyed the company of one another and razed each other with nick names.  Some can't be mentioned on this forum.

Enjoy the Pics we will be finished tomorrow instead of Friday.  Get ready for a fantastic wall people.

Looks amazing! Wish I could have been there to help. I was just imagining what will be going through people's mind when they see it for the first time. In the immortal words of Jeff Spicoli, "Awesome, totally awesome, all right Hamilton."

I love the Cracks.  You did a very nice job making them crack realistically.  I agree with Jody, the details make all the difference in reality.  Nice job guys!  The coloring is also very elegant.  I love it.

Things are heating up around here. There are two locations where the next hands on project will be. The one for sure location is in Naples Florida.
There will be a new decorative concrete supply store opening in the near future in the city of Naples. I am very excited about this because it is an open canvas to make whatever we want to really wow the public. There will be great opportunity for this location and we will no doubt capture some wonderful additions to the vertical world. I am also excited about releasing a new product/tool to all of you at this event. More information soon to come. stay tuned and keep your eyes pealed:)
