Thanks for the info Scott. Have you tried flex-c-ment? The reason I'm asking is there's a place that sells it about 25 miles from where I live. I was planning to order tru-pac because of what I have heard about it but if this flex stuff is any good it would be great for me because of the location. Or I guess it would anyway. Would you suggest I go with tru-pac? Not to question you to death I'm just excited to get started! lol
Thanks Scott, I appreciate you're advice man. I'm sure there will be many more questions when I finally get a hold of some! When I do finally get some practice in and feel like I can handle it I'll post pics of my backyard project to see if I can get some input on what to steer away from.
I noticed on your bedroom project you made the rock on the left and right side bump out like it maybe for setting a candle stick perhaps? Don't feel like you have to answer that if you're keeping it for a surprise. Also the center stone above looks like it protrudes out further than in the earlier pictures. Either way it looks great I was just wondering if it was the light source that made the difference.......and thats my last question for now lol!!! I promise no more for the night!
Hey Adam, like Scott said, there are alot of good folks on here to help somebody get started and progress. Mixes comes down to many factors, most of which are minor. Get the hang of the process first, then you can find a mix that fits your style, budget, etc. Good luck and don't be a stranger on the forum.
